Hotel looks good, but not to Fido
Baymont Inn & Suites by WyndhamCons: Front desk was not helpful on check in. No elevator, so we had to trek everything for us and our dog up the stairs. No offer from hotel staff to help. Also, when asked about a pet relief area, I was pointed to the desert on all sides. No fenced area to let him off leash or baggies for his donations to the desert. He also ended up with burrs and thorns on all 4 paws from a short foray to relieve himself. I do not consider this “pet friendly” at all.
Aside from the pet issues, the room didn’t have any USB ports for phone charging. The fridge was inop. We thought it was just turned off, so we turned the dial all the way to the coldest setting. We didn’t know until the next morning that it was a actually broken. Pros: the manager, Dr. Dan was very nice when we checked out and the hotel looked nice. The room had a lot of space with 2 queen beds and a full sized leather couch.
