Clean and Comfy
La Quinta by Wyndham FlagstaffI really enjoyed my stay a this La Quinta. It was clean and comfy, and not old-feeling like some mid-priced hotels. I would stay here again.

Not very well run
Holiday Inn Hotel & Suites Durango Downtown an IHG HotelThe spaces were fine, but the hotel was not well run. My fridge was broken, when I went by the front desk there was rarely anyone there, and sometimes lines of people waiting with no attendant. I asked a front desk attendant if my IGH number was on my listing, and she told me to look it up myself and tell someone if there was a problem. The hotel is next to a dog park, but the park is not entirely fenced in. They did have a reasonable dog fee. But I probably would not stay here again.

High Value
Motel 6 Snyder TXThis was a lower end motel, but it was either new or newly renovated, clean and safe. The desk clerk was very helpful. And there was no dog fee! I don't usually consider Motel 6, but this experience has made me consider Motel 6 for the future. It was a high value stay.

Really Needs Maintenance
La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Hot SpringsMany things were broken down at this hotel. The bathtub had missing spots of enamel and was slippery. The chair had large holes in the upholstery. Rust on light fixtures. The worst was that the lights were out in the back parking lot where dogs can be walked. It felt like it was dangerous to walk a dog or park back there. Several times when I went through the lobby people were waiting at the front desk with no staff to help. When staff did appear, they were helpful and nice. But this hotel really needs maintenance.
