Beautiful hiking but a maze!
Middlesex Fells ReservationDon’t get me wrong I live for a good long hike and so does my girl but dang this place is like a maze and a half! Barely any signs with words saying this way to this. I’ve gotten lost here multiple times and thankfully had some really lovely people adopt me and Haven into their group and help us out- (Also found out google maps is a godsend there!) but yes if you go bring water, snacks, charge your phone and hopefully they start to add better markers to the trails! I still plan to go back since she loves it cheers to hopefully not getting lost again.

Unpredictable sadly
Thorndike Park Dog ParkReally wonderful park but unfortunately there are dogs that come in who’s behavior isn’t appropriate, I.E humping, loud barking, and aggressive! My 6 month old cattle dog mix Haven who loves other dogs and needs the social interactions was jumped on during multiple occasions at one time but different dogs- One owner even stepped forward to say that’s how her dog plays (if your dog is grabbing mine around the neck and pinning her into the dirt while growling that is not play!). Haven and I had a great time here however on two occasions so that’s what’s sad- it’s so close by I just wish owners were more respectful and understanding if your dog isn’t dog friendly/understanding of dog body language or if they need a break and are getting overstimulated please exit the park. You are ruining this beautiful place for other dog owners.

PAWESOME!
Wrentham Dog ParkWhat can I say except I drive my girl an hour to come to this park! It’s amazing and I always feel she is safe here. It’s huge fenced in and has nice shady spots for the pups to lay down. Plus dog bowls galore which is nice I can bring water and fill them up. Everyone I have met is so nice and I truly enjoy the conversations I’ve had- Never felt Haven was going to not enjoy herself she often meanders off and I can walk around. Exercise for mom and pup.
