Great beach for dogs and humans
Big River BeachGreat place to go with or without dogs. Kind people. Great dogs. Trail option off east end of beach. Only downside was occasional horse poop

Small fun beach
Westport-Union Landing State BeachThere are multiple parking lots. We parked in the day use area near rangers Station that had stairs leading to the beach. Nice open area where dogs were off leash but signs posted said dogs needed to be on leash. Would give 5 bones if definitely off leash.

Beautiful flat trail with gorgeous views
Pomo Bluffs ParkThis trail just north of Noyo Harbor has lots of options for short and long hikes. It is flat all the way and can extend up to glassbeach. Beautiful easy to follow path. Dogs on leash (so r bones not 5)

Beautiful but dogs on leash
MacKerricher State ParkWe were very excited to check out this park. Turns out there is no off leash portion for dogs. Gorgeous walks. Our "birding dog" did go crazy with all the wildlife so cut our hike short
