Good Choice
Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham GenevaWe stayed at this hotel both outbound and on the return trip. The rooms were clean and updated. The pet exercise area is decent sized and waste bags are provided. We had 2 Newfoundlands at 100 lbs + each and there were no problems. There is also a nice restaurant right across the parking lot.

A little rough around the edges
Ramada by Wyndham Columbus NorthPet exercise area is not large but adequate. The hotel itself is poorly kept and dirty throughout. Despite the no smoking signs everywhere the cannabis odor was clearly noticeable in the halls outside many rooms. However, the dogs didn't care and there were no problems related to the pets. 2 dogs over 100 lbs each.

Just OK
La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham ManchesterPet exercise area was very small but the tiny park across the cul-de-sac was perfect. No problems with the pets. 2 dogs over 100 lbs each.

Ideal Location
Days Inn Bar Harbor1st floor room right near exit large enough for two Newfoundlands in crates. Large grassy areas for taking care of business. Free guest laundry. Only minutes from endless great walks in Acadia National Park or great restaurants in Bar Harbor.
