Great lasagna and friendly
Bonelli's BistroDogs OK outside. They were very dog friendly, bringing us water a couple times after our dog tipped over the bowl. The lasagne in a skillet was excellent, salads good, and prices very reasonable.

Friendly helpful staff, rustic rooms
Ace Hotel PortlandThe rooms are pretty bare bones (ha!) and the “quiet” side of the building is dark, but it’s clean and perfectly adequate. Hotel coffee was excellent. Staff helpful. Can definitely recommend.

Kind of loud but OK
Best Western McMinnville InnIt’s a Best Western so it was fine. But the walls were pretty thin. We could hear the guy next door snoring like he was in the same room.

Great room, great value, just one thing
Days Inn by Wyndham WilliamsWould be a 5 star review on a non-dog site, as everything was great for the money. Only thing is there isn’t a lot of good dog walking spots right next to the hotel.

A gem in Paso Robles
Farmhouse MotelWhat a great little spot, just a few blocks off downtown. A fantastic value, with a friendly front desk. The woman at the front, who I think was the owner, opened a dog herself which is always a plus. The rooms are not huge, but are clean and comfortable. Additionally the towels were higher quality than you usually get at a motel in that price range. All around great stay, would definitely stay again if we come back to Paso Robles.

Perfectly Acceptable
Baymont by Wyndham BozemanStayed one night, staff was friendly and helpful. Plenty of places around the building to walk the dog. Would stay again.

Clean and comfortable
Grandstay Hotel and Suites LuverneStaff were wearing masks, they provided me with a room that had not been occupied for 24 hours. Plenty of places to walk your dog. Would stay there again.

It was fine.
La Quinta by Wyndham DickinsonA little run down but OK. The biggest issue I had was there were practically no Covid precautions (hardly anyone wearing a mask, no plexiglass shields). No wonder North Dakota is a hot spot right now...
