It was ok
La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Ft Myers-Sanibel GatewayWe stayed a couple of months after Ian. The place was still under construction, but the website didn’t indicate that the pool was closed. There was a strong smell in the room. The carpet in particular. The water line was in middle of the floor below. So don’t know what that was about. Also they had removed, and not replaced, all the hair dryers and ironing boards, which was weird. The front desk was nice but kept issuing keys that did not work. It might be better when it gets fully restored, but it seemed like some of the disorganization was who they were. But they were definitely filling a need for all the relief workers, which was nice. It probably would have been better if they just said on their site that they were really not aiming for families at that time.

Super place for dogs on Mackinac
Mission Point ResortWe were very comfortable with our two pups. It’s a super location with lots of amenities.
