First stop on our way out West
Travelodge by Wyndham North PlatteEasy to find location off I-80. Friendly desk staff. Pet friendly hotel. Grassy pet area not real convenient. It was in the back of hotel. No continental breakfast but they did give you a voucher for Penny's Diner located in their parking lot.
Fort Morgan
Rodeway Inn Fort MorganGreat location and friendly staff. Excellent grassy areas and one that is marked specifically for pet guests. Free breakfast but you have to go next door to sister Choice hotel. And that is where the nice amenities stop. Unclean interior halls. Wallpaper ripped in spots. Room was clean except for some "fecal reside" left in the toilet. We stayed on the second floor with stairs to go down. We noticed a "gal" that entered up the back stairway and was on her phone......clearly looked like she was awaiting a room number to turn a "trick"...lots of railway workers stay here. On the other hand, many folks with dogs traveling from the midwest also.
Albequerque
La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Albuquerque MidtownNO grassy area for dogs to go potty in. La Quintas are always great places to stay. They are clean and have continental breakfasts. However, the room we were put in was on third floor so stairs or elevator, hope your dog is not fearful of either. I always appreciate a lower floor when traveling with our dog.
Grand Canyon
Grand Canyon Plaza HotelGreat room with direct outside access. Poor grassy areas for dogs. Resort is surrounded by parking lot. Found grassy area to the back that was field like but it worked.
Great Location
West End LodgeThis was a great place and location. Very friendly staff. I loved that our room was on the first floor and coincidentally by an exit door. So much green grassy areas to take dogs out on. Also a doggy daycare in town if needed. And there are many registered dogsitters in area from Rover.com.
Last stay on our way home
La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Smyrna TN - NashvilleThis was our last stay on our way home from FL (Jan. 2019). I believe there was no pet fee. The hotel was clean. The room was on the third floor. Just wish there were rooms for people with pets on 1st floor, as my dog is leery of elevators but there are stairs also. The room we had faced the highway I-24......EXTREMELY loud from the traffic. It required wearing earplugs. Otherwise the rooms were clean. There are grass patches to take your dog for potty.
Another Great stay
La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Cocoa Beach OceanfrontStayed with our dog. We had room 211. Love that their was hardwood floors in the rooms. The room was clean and quiet. I did not know there was a dog area to take our dog too. We ended up walking him around to grass in the from and side of the hotel. He was more comfortable taking the stair well as the elevator freaked him out a bit.
Great Stay on our way to FL
La Quinta by Wyndham PaducahVery nice hotel and good experience. Only thing that would be nice is if they would have rooms on the first floor available for people with pets. This was our dog Brody's first hotel stay and the elevator freaked him out a bit. He was more comfortable with the stairs. Rooms were clean and quiet.
