Very Dog Friendly
The Hungry PugThis was a quick service food truck located next to a brewery. They have covered outdoor seating, and it's dog friendly, which is a HUGE plus! Our pup loved getting a treat from the workers and sniffing around while we waited for our food. The only downside was the limited vegetarian options, but we ordered the Gouda Griller, and it was good. Next time, we will have to try the cheese curds!
Nice, small, dog bar/park
Ruff Canine ClubThis was a small dog/bar park that our pup thoroughly enjoyed. We liked that they had plenty of tennis balls for the dogs to play with since outside toys aren't allowed. Only a couple of downsides: It was a bit chilly when we visited at night, and only 3 fire lamps (out of about 8) were being utilized; the water bowls were limited and frequently empty. Other than that, it was a chill place to visit while on vacation. Their spiked ciders & hot chocolate were very delicious and a great treat to help warm up!
Great Dog Park, Limited Shops
Stony Point Fashion ParkThis mall had a great outdoor dog park that was completely fenced-in with artificial grass (no worries about a muddy pup). There were a lot of closed shops, so we mainly stayed at the park.
My Doggo Loved It
SkiptownThis was a great place to bring your pup and enjoy a drink. The only downside I have (and this is because my dog is still a puppy) is that the layout is very big, making it difficult to keep eyes on your dog. The layout starts from the inside where the bar is located with hightop tables and goes outside to the yard/play area where there are picnic tables and heated lamps to chill. The drink selection is great! They have beer, wine, and cocktails... something for everyone!
Clean Dog Park
Love's Travel Stop PiedmontThis is a well kept dog park at Love's gas station. The poop bag dispenser was fully stocked and the garbage can was empty! I would come back.
Nice Dog Park
Love's Travel StopThis is a well kept dog park at Love's Truck Stop! It is our 2nd time visiting, and I'm still impressed at how well-maintained it is aside from a few cigarette butts. We will continue to use this as a pit stop when traveling with our doggo.
Vacation Jackpot
Pups Pub - OrlandoThis is such a great concept and I wish it was more common! It's a great way to let your dog burn some energy with other fur friends in a safe environment while you have a drink. You don't have to worry about your dog getting dirty from the park (it's all fake grass) and there are also employees who monitor the play area to stop unwanted behavior. I would go there all the time if I lived close. Such a great find for our vacation to Orlando!
