Nice Beach
Brohard Paw ParkThe beach itself was clean and clear, the only issue I had was the irresponsible dog owners who bring aggressive dogs and don’t discipline their pets. I saw 4 dog fights within the first hour I was there and it was a couple with 2 Mastiffs who were lunging at any dog that walked by. Now I love my dog and will defend her 100% if she’s attacked by an aggressive dog but I shouldn’t have to worry about that while on a beach.

Nice Dog Park
Perrine Wayside Dog ParkClean park, parking is terrible, not enough grass it’s mostly dirt and mud so expect your dog to get dirty. There is a hose to rinse off your pets if need be. The lake can be really clean but can also be gross and green and smell like crap so catch it on a good day and your dog will love it. Plenty of trees and shade. Only other issue is the small dog section is a tiny chain link fenced area that has a small patch of grass. Which sucks considering the park itself is a decent size with an odd verity of terrain from small ledges to small hills and a pond to enjoy.

Good/Bad
Hobie Island Beach ParkThis beach is the perfect example of maybe. There are days where the water is flat and perfect for my dog to enjoy a relaxing swim and chase the seagulls. Then there are days where the seaweed washed up on shore is ridiculous and practically covers the shore to where you cant even get your feet wet without stepping through what feels like muck and slime. Not to mention the people that usually stay here love to leave their beer bottles everywhere and dont pick u their trash. I find it best personally to go just before sunset around 3-4 on week days when its less crowded. or my favorite days that seem to be overcast and cloudy. people stay away and the beach is basically to yourself. miami residents will never go to the beach if there is so much as one grey could in the sky. It also beats a really long drive up to Hollywood dog beach which costs you like 20$ just to park and get in. This one is free :]

Nice hidden lake
Performance Pups Freshwater Dog BeachThe lake water was really nice and well kept. clean clear water. The only issue i have with the lake/beach area is the amount of rocks instead of sand. a couple of times i could see my dog stop on a rock the wrong way and hurt herself a bit. so for a really active dog i would just keep an eye on them and where they run.

great beach
Dog Beach of HollywoodLove bringing my dog here, water is always clean and most owners are responsible in cleaning up after their pets. The only complaint i have is that if you plan on bringing an umbrella for shade expect it to get pee'd on by every male dog around
