An absolute nightmare!

We arrived this past Saturday evening, myself, our pup and my son. We were given a room that was full of flies/gnats, smelled like a mixture of cigarette smoke and some kind of disinfectant covering up the smell. Traveling with an asthmatic child makes such encounters extremely scary. Outside our room were 2 older folks smoking also and that smoke entered the room as well. I ended up going back to the front desk explained the situation and was assured due to the circumstances, I would be given a refund since we left and did not stay there. I am so upset that I have to fight to get a refund when I was assured by the front desk it would not be a problem due to the circumstances. My son ended up extremely sick and we were on the road with nowhere to go. Awful experience. Please be careful. There is something not quite right when you aren’t given the manager’s name and no return calls when something goes wrong.
