Perfect for our needs
Quality Inn Troutville - Roanoke NorthThe room was simple and clean. Cracker Barrel one parking lot away. Plenty of grass to walk the pups on. Nothing fancy but very reasonable pet fee and all around pleasant stay.

Great Hospitality
Greystone Inn & SuitesThe hotel itself is quite dated. Not a problem for us as we were traveling and can’t be too choosy with three large (up to 90lb) pooches. There were a few things like a stained old chair that we would have been better without. The room itself was clean, under the bed, everywhere. Little things like the chair can overshadow what was otherwise a reasonably proved stay. This hotel is waaaaay off the beaten path, like 20+ mins to the nearest big highway for something like Cracker Barrel. Make advanced plans for dinner! We brought subs. Breakfast was the usual, oatmeal, eggs, biscuits etc.

Super convenient
Wingate by Wyndham Lake Charles Casino AreaJust passed through Lake Charles on a long trip. Hotel is just off the highway and in the same lot as a Cracker Barrel, which is a welcome reliable late-ish food option for us on long trips. Requested a ground floor room ahead of time, which we received, making it easy to get the pooches in and out. Room was clean, breakfast decent, staff wonderful. Big clean grassy area behind the hotel for walking. Not the cheapest, but traveling with three big dogs, we have to be flexible.
