Not so dog friendly

We were advised after booking of a $20 extra fee and then that dogs are not allowed on furniture. We were told that if hair was found there would be another $40 charge. The room was cold and damp and the floor was wood and there was no mat for a dog to sleep on. We were expecting a little more consideration for a supposedly dog-friendly hotel.
