Crappy hotel, nice staff
Rodeway Inn Downtown FlagstaffThis hotel is really run down. The room I was given had a king bed that took up almost the entire room. Bathroom had shower only, no tub, dry wall around toilet is still open. Fridge is nice and big, but the place is really shabby. Location is excellent. Park one block away for walking pooches. Restaurants and bars walking distance away.
Winter spots inside!
Altitudes Bar & GrillWhen Altitudes isn't busy, there are 2 spots that they allow a dog to sit inside the restaurant. This is really appreciated in winter!! The place is large, has great beer on tap and a very friendly staff (and the patrons are really nice too!). The food is good, not great. Pulled pork sandwich is too fatty, but the sauce was very good. Fries and cole slaw were excellent, salad, typical mediocre kind of salad.
Beautiful patio, even in winter!
Canteen BrewhouseHuge patio! Even in winter. Was there in March and all the heaters were keeping warm, plus there's a fire pit. Pooches love this place. The beer was awesome, too!
Really cute hotel
Ramada by Wyndham KingmanThis hotel is so cute! It's painted with movies stars from the 50s. The diner has good food, great beer and they are dog friendly. My only complaint is that the "dog area" is kind of yucky and there are signs on the lawn near the pool "no dog." But I walked my little pooch around the property and found her a comfortable place to do her business. And as always, I cleaned up after her.
Wonderful doggie walking spots
La Quinta Inn by Wyndham Albuquerque NortheastI love this hotel! They were very nice at the desk. The room was great. Even though it's close to the freeway, it's really quiet. My room was at the back of the hotel and I couldn't hear any street noise at all. They have lots of little lawns to walk pooches. I loved it!
