Awesome Ambiance
Clyde's Table and TavernWe loved the food! You do walk through the front door to the back patio. It is screened in and heated for the winter. You won’t be cold! Only reason I’d give 4 bones and not 5 is, I believe they only allow one dog at a time on the porch. Our 30 minute wait was 90 minutes!! It was worth the wait. If we come back to visit, I’d definitely call ahead.
Staff was very dog friendly. They don’t make you feel bad about brining your pup along. My German shepherd was well received by staff and customers. We had a blast!
They appreciate your dog!
Cowboys & Angels Restaurant and BarVery nicely insulated with heaters for outside dining. Gertie was brought two bowls of water! They weren’t overly excited about her but were very tolerant. I’d go there again when visiting Helen, GA. Food was very good for the price. My pup was happy.
Not recommended in the winter
Hofbrauhaus RestaurantMy husband, dog and I showed up at 7ish on a colder night. I went inside and asked if outside seating was available because it was cold. The hostess said oh yes absolutely. I said I know it’s cold so if they don’t wanna serve out there I get it. I was assured it was fine.
My poor dog never got a bowl of water and she didn’t get a free hot dog that I kept hearing about. The food was decent. But our waiter didn’t want to come out so we got out our drinks refilled one time when he brought out our food. I was very disappointed in my experience. We were ignored, and my poor girl wasn’t even acknowledged by the waiter!! We wouldn’t go back.
