Lovely place for our dog
Niagara Crossing Hotel and SpaWe reserved a King River View and the room, on the third floor, was very spacious. Enough room to toss a ball back and forth for the dog. Plenty of green space and walking paths. It was off season so the restaurant closest to the hotel that was open didn't have their outdoor patio open yet, but they allowed us to bring our Standard Poodle into the restaurant so we could dine. It's a short walk up the hill to a thriving quaint business district of this historic town. The hotel has a free hot breakfast bar from 7-10am and our dog was welcome to sit with us while we ate. Bed and pillows were comfy and view was nice. Room was clean and stocked with very basic amenities. We plan on staying here again.
Nice location
41 Lakefront Hotel Trademark Collection by WyndhamIf location is important to you then this hotel is literally on the steps of Seneca Lake and at the beginning of a huge lakefront park with what seemed like an endless walking trail. Cross the highway and you can explore the town of Geneva with all it's little shops. The hotel room was clean with basic amenities. Very plain. They gave us a room on the fifth floor. Which meant a long trip for potty breaks. The room air conditioner worked well but was super loud which was annoying. There was a restaurant at the hotel where you could sit outside off to the side with you dog to dine. We did not dine there. I gave it four bones because although it's a great location expected a little more comfort for the price.
Great Location For Dog Walks
Comfort Inn PA Turnpike - 1-81This hotel is not in the business district and you have to drive an extra five minutes from the main highway to get to it, BUT ITS SO WORTH IT! Nestled back in a small park-like business park, there is plenty of room for your dog (and you) to stretch your legs. The hotel has a nice large grassy area next to the parking lot for pets to be walked. But the bonus is, the business park's main tenant Giant Foods has a .75 mile long paved nature trail around the whole park.
We took a nice stroll around it when we arrived, after dinner, and before we left the next day. My dog couldn't have been happier. The second bonus is that it's just a short walk down a side path to a beautiful picturesque trout stream. The hotel was clean and pleasant and it was nice to get a free breakfast in the morning. If you were looking for dinner options you would have to drive back to the main business district, but that didn't matter to us. All that matters to us is our dog's comfort when we travel, and this place was perfect.
Great Location
Four Points by Sheraton RichmondNice hotel tucked into a park-like setting. The local business park it's in created a series of ponds and put in a paved walking trail around them all. Perfect for exercising you and your dog before or after a long car ride. There was an Applebee's restaurant within walking distance that allowed us to dine with our dog on the patio. Our room was on the second floor so riding the elevator was a new experience for our dog. Room was comfy and adequately supplied for us. Our main concern when we travel is comfort and amenities for our dog and we were more than satisfied. We will stay there again we travel that direction.
