My new favorite
Stanly Ranch Auberge Resorts CollectionHaving stayed at other (dog friendly) resorts in Napa Valley in the past, we were excited to try one of the newest; Stanly Ranch just south of Napa itself. The resort is beautiful, standing on a 700+ acre area with 30+ cottages (rooms & suites). There are plenty of walking trails around the property, and outside seating at both the restaurant (Bear) the bar, and the coffee shop too, all dog friendly! The rooms are spacious and comfortable and our furry pals get a bed, bowls and treats too! My only comment is that for a dog- friendly resort, they do not have any "poop bag" dispensers (or trash cans) in sight so disposing of "doggy gifts" can be a bit of a challenge! All of the staff were every friendly too - many of whom have their own pets so everything was copacetic! Highly recommend if you are a fan of Carneros Inn, Solage etc.
lovely dog friendly location in Carmel Valley
Bernardus Lodge & SpaJust returned from a weekend retreat at the Bernardus Lodge & Spa in Carmel Valley.
We had a lovely suite at the resort very cosy and comfy and all the staff were very friendly and helpful.
Overall very dog friendly, with the usual amenities for our 4-pawed pals ... my only "observation" would be that there needs to be better access for dining with your dog, at least offer the dinner menu for guests sitting outside on the patio as the bar menu is rather limited and uninspiring ... apart from that a lovely weekend ...
checkout the rose gardens!
"Mall Cop"
Bedwell Bayfront Parkused to be a great park until Menlo Park decided to throw good money away on their "mall cop" who constantly drives around the park eying dog walkers up like they were potential domestic terror threats
