Didn’t feel safe here
Candlewood Suites Fredericksburg an IHG HotelI regret making a reservation ahead of seeing this hotel. It was nonrefundable, so my husband, pup, and I tried to stay here but were uncomfortable. There were multiple junk cars with instate license plates and sketchy clientele. It was noisy, and we could hear voices from the hall or other rooms, causing the dog to bark frequently. We didn’t sleep well and left in the early morning hours.
Cute place for souvenir shopping
Rain Barrel VillageA small, outdoor shopping center with a variety of little shops, many by local crafters. Nice shaded walking path between shops.
Perfect day on the water
Key Largo Tiki ToursCaptain Chris was welcoming and very knowledgeable of the area. He was able to adapt the ride to our wishes and provided us with a great 4-hour ride on the water, even with a stop in some shallow water for a swim. We really enjoyed the day and having the boat to ourselves so that the tour was specific to our request. It was a relaxing ride and Chris was fun to talk and hang out with.
Tasty treat!
Keys Chocolates and Ice CreamThe ice cream was delicious and our Zeke thoroughly enjoyed his pup cup. There is a nice, shaded seating area to enjoy your treats.
Welcome aboard Fido!
Key Largo Princess Glass Bottom BoatThe crew was very welcoming to my cockerpoo and even came by a few times during the cruise for some pets and lovin’. The dog enjoyed the ocean breeze but I wish there were some benches on the upper deck for the human travelers, as we had to stand the full time. The only seats were inside and it was hot in there.
Delicious ending to an afternoon on the water
Key Largo Fisheries BackyardMy family and cockerpoo spent the afternoon on a tiki boat cruise from this marina and decided to catch an early dinner upon our return to the dock. The food was fresh and delicious, and there were plenty of shaded tables in the covered deck area with room for Fido to lay and relax while we ate. We had a fabulous dog-friendly day!
Great food with pet friendly patio
Mrs. Mac's Kitchen IIThe food and service was great. Our cockerpoo was welcomed on the patio. Our server was friendly and offered water for the dog. The only downside was that this restaurant is between the north and south lanes so there was some loud traffic noise that occasionally startled the dog.
Great location off I-95
Hampton Inn Savannah I-95 Richmond HillWe spent 1 night during a road trip. Staff was friendly and helpful with finding take out so we could eat in the room with our Fido. Our room was easy access on the first floor and close to a side entrance for potty breaks.
