I live a dog life. I work, travel, eat, sleep and do everything with my dogs. I met my husband because of our dogs. Our perfect life would be to have 20 dogs on some land. DOGS. DOGS. DOGS. they are way better than people :)

Fantastic!

The Thunderbird Inn

We were coming to Charleston for the 1st time and wanted a budget conscious, dog friendly and centrally located hotel and The Thunderbird exceeded our expectations. They gift you locally made treats with a little dog tag that says 'The Thunderbird loves me, Savannah GA' when you check in. They have a small dog run right off the lobby and do amazing fresh donuts and coffee in the lobby in the am. It couldn't be a better location to walk or use the local tolls that are right outside the door to explore the historic districts of Savannah. Not to mention the kitschy 1960's decor and sign are amazing. Everyone we met, guests and staff were so friendly. We will definitely be back.

Best dog park ever

Southern Oaks Inn

And all around great place to stay. They have dog beds and water bowls in the room. The dog rooms are at the back of the hotel right across from the amazing dog park and another big yard to walk your dogs.

Quiet and Clean but sketchy folks outside

Motel 6 Cheyenne

I needed a place to crash with my blue heeler for the night and I usually love a Motel 6. This one was super busy. No ground floor rooms available and parking was jammed up with people everywhere but its the summer after the pandemic so everyone is traveling and if ur looking for a cost effective place to lay your head this one is decent. The only issue was the obvious drug dealing/doing when I was outside my room. The room was very clean and I was happily surprised that it was so quiet at night. I was worried because of all the druggy folks outside and coming in and out of rooms that it would be unbearable. Anyway. Not a terrible place to land for one night.

Friendly check-in, and not a bad place for the price

Motel 6 Portland OR - Central

I mean, If you are like me and just want a cost effective place to stay while traveling with your dog this wasn't bad. There were 2 grassy areas around the property for doing dog business. We weren't there for the room, we were there to experience Portland and it did not disappoint. What a dog friendly city! So many parks and river fronts and restaurants and bars are all outdoor dog friendly. Had a great time and didn't see any explicit sex trafficking or drug selling like I've seen at many other Motel 6's across the country. This one was super chill and as long as your dog isn't off leash (mine was and I got in trouble) then you won't have any issues. Quiet and well worth the price in such a weird and awesome city.

Quiet and not the cleanest

Studio 6 Tyler TX

If you hate bugs, don't stay here. There was a few dead bugs in the room when we checked in. I'm not bug adverse (my kryptonite is rodents) so it was ok. They gave us the room at the end of the motel on the ground floor near the grassy area. Which was nice since my dog had been in the car for 14 hours. There is a dumpster right there and the raccoons and feral cats like to frolic. My blue heeler was ecstatic over this chasing entertainment but you might not like it that much. The room was clean but I did see some little roaches marching around. So..... fellow traveler. If you like fancy places without any bugs, don't book here. Be well and happy trails.

Quiet, Clean and Comfortable

Country Inn

That really sums it up. If you are in the market for a dog friendly under $100 a night spot in this part of Utah you couldn't do any better. My room was a throwback to 1960 (which I am all about!) and some of the light bulbs were out so the hotel guy helped me sort that out. There's a big mesa in the back where our room was that my naughty cattle dog could romp around that was nice after 12 hours in the car. There are definitely coyotes that live back there so if you have a little dog I would keep them close. The room was adequate and quiet. I will also add, that the truck stop across the street has amazing I HEART BEAVER schwag. T-shirts, magnets, coffee cups etc. Its hilarious! and open 24 hours so you can get all the coffee and snacks in the morning (and an I heart beaver sticker) its still hilarious to me. I bought a bunch of friends something from that truck stop! Also, everyone I met around the hotel was super nice and all wanted to chat and exchange travel stories. Such is the life of people traveling through the middle of UTAH and staying in BEAVER. Super cute and nice spot

Super great accommodations

Stoney Creek Hotel Columbia

I’m traveling cross country with my 2 girls and wind up in Columbia for the night. Looking through BringFido and Yelp, Stoney Creek kept coming up. I called while having dinner down the street and asked for a dog friendly room preferably on the ground floor with access to outdoors since my oldest is incontinent and wears diapers but needs to go out a lot anyway.

The lovely lady (Jody?) at the desk had just started working there but found me a king suite with a patio which being new, she wasn't sure if it was gated or not. When we showed up and I surveyed the room I found that we had an internal king room with our own door leading to a semi gated courtyard. After 13 hours in the car, it’s been the best thing for my girls all day. Super easy check in and fun decor with a big Moose! in the front at the entrance. Such a great end to a good travel day and my ladies are running around/sleeping happily. Thanks BringFido and thanks Stoney Creek!

Everyone brought water bowls

44 Stone Public House

I left the dogs in the car while I went in to see if I could get a table. and when I got back from the car with my beasties they hostess, the waitress and another server had all brought water bowls independently of eachother. they were so happy to have more dogs on the patio. my rescue cattle dogs puppy can be skittish but she loved all of the employees that came over to say hi.
the food was great. the ploughmans lunch charcuterie plate was amazing and too much food (even after sharing ham with the dogs) also love the Indian/British fare they had on the menu.

super great place to land after a 14 hour road trip day not just for the dogs but also for this human 🎉🤸🏻‍♂️
