Didn’t live up to expectations
The Equinox Golf Resort & SpaStunning property sadly becoming run down. Management has changed hands. Dog was not acknowledged in any way whatsoever, however there were other dogs there and the outside courtyard was great for our pup. 1 bone because they didn’t have our room ready at check-in until 8:30pm at night, which is unacceptable. And the next day our room keys didn’t work for no reason. Our friends' room had a broken out window pane. However, the hotel did give them a free night for that. We got drink vouchers. It’s a shame because the resort is stunning. I had a facial in the spa and it was wonderful.
Grassy park across the street
The Berkeley HotelThis hotel was quite nice. Rooms were sufficient and clean. Staff was friendly. They provide cold drinks/water and snacks in the rooms daily. The grassy area for our pup is a park kitty corner to the hotel. it’s a bit of a busy intersection to cross but it is downtown Richmond so to be expected.
Wonderful place for pets
Hampton Inn Charleston Historic DistrictWe loved staying here best on our trip. It was a block from King St and just steps away from many restaurants including the Rue de Jean which is a dog friendly restaurant with a nice patio. The best part about it was the courtyard with a large grassy area for our Jagger to run around and do his business. The staff was wonderful all the way around and welcoming to our little guy.
Room with private patio
East Bay Inn Historic Inns of Savannah CollectionThis is a lovely hotel. We were welcomed with wine in the lobby and a doggie bag of goodies for our boy. The coffee was delicious and the staff was very accommodating and welcome. We got the room with a private patio but our boy would not do his business out there as there was no green. There was a good size grassy park like area across the street which worked just fine. Our room was unique and interesting, we enjoyed staying there. Bed was comfortable.
Lukewarm greeting
La Quinta Inn by Wyndham Cocoa Beach-Port CanaveralOur adorable long haired Chi was not acknowledged which is ok, better than a no pets allowed greeting. The rooms were clean, a little stark. There is a bar and a Asian food restaurant on the premises, but we didn’t partake either one. The best part was the inner courtyard with the pool and large grassy area for Jagger to use; super convenient and didn’t have to walk far for him to do is duties.
