Dog Tolerant
Thompson Savannah Part of HyattI chose this hotel because of the 5-bone rating, but was left perplexed by why it was rated so highly. My room was not ready when I arrived, so after a 6 hour drive I had to wait in the lobby while wrangling two nervous pups for about an hour. The lobby was crowded and there was a DJ; it was like a party was going on every time I walked my dogs through to take them outside. The hotel itself was fine, had I not been traveling with my dogs (although besides the room not being ready, I also ordered room service since dogs can't be left alone in the room. I couldn't get ahold of in room dining, so the front desk took my order and long story short, in room dining never got it. They came an hour and a half later and were very apologetic, saying they wouldn't charge me for it....but then it showed up on my final bill. I'm giving it 2 bones because there is a nice grassy area outside for the dogs to do their business. But otherwise I would not stay here again.
