Actively Dog Friendly
Red Roof Inn & Suites Omaha - Council BluffsMany dog-friendly hotels feel like dogs are an afterthought. Not this one. There were many dog families staying the night, the on-site dog park was nice, and there was plenty of space in the room for our dog to walk around and stretch her legs. It was an excellent experience for all of us.

Air Conditioning Broken
Best Western Plus Steeplegate InnThe room was 84 degrees when we arrived and despite the outdoor temperature dropping into the 50's and us leaving the window open, remained above 80 until we left the next morning. Unpleasant experience. It looked like a decent hotel, but I wouldn't recommend reserving sight unseen before the day of the stay.
