No pets on furniture

Extensive pet policy, which includes no pets allowed on the furniture and animal control seizing your pet if they’re left alone (we’d never leave her alone, but have never seen such a policy before).
Having direct access from car to room was great, except our outside door handle was broken so we could only unlock it from the inside, which meant having to access our room through the interior corridor first... so we could take our dog directly outside from our room, but then had to come back through the interior corridor. Bed and pillows were comfortable, the vinyl tile floor was nice (no carpet in the room). Breakfast was the worst we’ve had at a hotel, but we just grabbed something at a drive-thru on our way out of town.
We didn’t feel this Kelly Inn was very welcoming of pets - when we checked in they said they weren’t aware we had a pet and seemed annoyed... and proceeded to go over their pet “don’t” list. We have stayed at Kelly Inns which we will definitely return to, this is not one of them.
