Too bad - park temp. closed
Baxter's Dog ParkThis park looked great - good fencing, nice location. But it was closed and locked tight. A sign explained it was closed due to “conditions of the park.” It wasn’t evident what those conditions may be, and there was no indication when it might reopen. Too bad…
Hard pass
Ann Morrison ParkA big nope for this park. It’s extremely hard to find, we never saw the fenced off areas. The park is huge and sprawling, and we saw many off leash dogs all over. The frisbee golf course was interspersed in the dog area. Unless your dog has perfect recall and/or you find the actual fenced off areas, this park is not for you. Better directions should be posted. Too bad, we needed a good spot to burn off some energy.
Wow, The Best Ever!
Paws-abilities PlaceWe stopped by while traveling. This park is enormous! There were multiple (half a dozen?) large fenced areas, all grassy and very clean. You can pick a busy area or a less chaotic spot, whatever suits best. There are poop bags, trash cans, and plenty of water dishes all around, and parking was plentiful. It’s probably hot and busy during the summer months, but it was very pleasant and worth the stop this afternoon. Well done, Richland, WA!
