Dogs Galore For Those Not Afraid Of Heights
Drift Creek Falls TrailWhen you follow your GPS/phone navigation to get to Drift Creek Falls, and get to a fork in the road, go LEFT (like the signs show). Otherwise you'll end up down gravel roads leading to a dump! Once you pull into the parking lot there are restrooms (phew!), and although it seems very busy on weekends, we did find a parking spot within the lot. The hiking trail itself had us passing many other dogs along the way. The trail is narrow in most spots if hiking in a group or with more than one dog, and has both inclines and declines both into the waterfall and out to the parking lot. The suspension bridge is VERY COOL, but it does shake and for those afraid of heights, this may not be something you're wanting to trek across (to see the waterfall) Overall it was a moderate hike for us, but very beautiful and a fun way to spend the day!
