Great Fun
Dog Park at Wolf Hill Recreation AreaI’ve been bringing my dogs here for the better part of a year. Very large area, relatively well-maintained. Lots of parking, and the small dogs are separated from the big dogs. You have to bring your own bowl and water, but doggie potty bags are provided. The people all seem to get along as well. No one really breaks the dog size rule— occasionally there will be a bigger dog in the small side, but it’s always a gentler, older dog that’s too timid or tired for the big dog side so it’s fine. It hasn’t been a problem and the people are also understanding of the situation. You rarely are there by yourself, even on the small dog side. It’s a nice alternative to Thompson Park. Worth checking out!!
Very Dog Friendly
Bond Street BarYou can bring your dogs to the outside area. No table service, you have to order inside but the staff will bring your food outside. They also have water available for the pups. It’s a small area but turnover seems fast, and the picnic tables are far enough apart that you can keep your dog separate from others. All the outside patrons seem to expect dogs, and are very friendly and tolerant. Overall we give it two paws up!
