Great Spot for Lunch
Backwater Jacks Tiki BarWe recently took a quick day trip to Washington NC and were very pleased to find such a fun, pet-friendly place to have lunch. Dogs are welcome in the enclosed tiki bar area and everyone was very friendly and welcoming - great food, great drinks, and a big water bowl for dogs. Make sure to have cash if you visit, they don't take credit cards. We'll be sure to visit again the next time we are in town.

Very Pleasant Dog Park
Washington Off-Leash Dog ParkWe recently took a quick day trip to Washington NC and stopped in at the dog park. I was happy to see that there are separate areas for large and small dogs since my dog seems most comfortable around other small and medium dogs. The dog park is an easy walk from the waterfront area and fresh water is availalble. We enjoyed our visit and will come again the next time we are in town.
