No What I Call Dog Friendly!

I am traveling by myself and was looking for a patio to enjoy some coffee on... well let start by saying there is no way to get your coffee outside without going inside. Not a problem if you aren’t alone but I am . So option one leave my dog in the hot car while I wait for these baristas who you can not even get their attention. (Tried to get there attention to ask if how I order if I have my dog) So that is out, not going to leave him in the car alone. Or my other option... the one the baristas suggested is just tie him up on the patio... are you serious!?!?! The front of the store is on a Hwy 24. If my dog slipped his harness or pulled away from whatever his was tied to he was be squished... also no shade or umbrellas on their patio (10:30am)

Never got there coffee so no idea if it would be worth it to stop if I had someone with me...
