Clean, quiet, comfortable
La Quinta by Wyndham Birmingham HooverOne night stop on trip from Florida to Michigan. Beautiful quiet location, closet to I-65 but set off enough that there was no traffic noise. Pleasant, helpful receptionist. Room was comfortable and clean. Good price through BringFido.

Great spot in the historic distruct
The ShedFollowed the crowd waiting to get in to the Shed when it opened at 11:00AM. We were welcomed to sit in the colorful patio with Toby. He made friends with the children sitting nearby. The food was excellent. We shared the taco plate with the hot and hotter green and red sauces. A local IPA took the heat off. Service was attentive even during this busy time. Prices were reasonable. Highly recommend.

A Warm Mississippi Welcome
The HideawayWe were walking down the street with our dog trying to get a feel for the area after settling in to our lodging. We passed an alleyway and heard some great blues music and found a patio bar with a powerful duo singing and playing guitar. We asked about bringing the dog and Sybil wrapped her arms around my shoulder and brought us right in
We were able to sit in a lounge at the back of the patio, listen to the music and have drinks and an appetizer. Several people came over to meet Toby and ask about our trip, welcome us to Ocean Springs.

Lovely site, good service,
Power Plant Texas GrillWe visited the dog park just across the river then came over for a nice dinner. They had just fumigated the deck area and didn't want the 🐕 to be exposed so they offered to serve us at a picnic table. outside looking at the waterfall. The food was delicious, a senior sized bacon wrapped medallion and mushroom Swiss burger, made exactly as we ordered. We appreciated the special service.

Shady park for a warm day
Barky ParkVery nice dog park, only 2 other dogs here but lots of room to run after driving in the car for 500 miles. He will sleep well tonight!

4 Paws up
Ramada by Wyndham El PasoWe stayed at this lovely motel on the East side of El Paso for one night. The room was wonderful with a king bed, separate kitchen area, Sofa bed, full size refrigerator, stove top, etc. Easy access of of I-10. Very reasonably priced with a $10 pet fee. No grass but pretty courtyard with flowering shrubs. Had to walk a way for my boy to do his business. He is used to grass. Breakfast with hot items is included. A great deal compared to most of the other properties we have visited in this 2 well road trip.

Excellent accommodation
Flounders Chowder HouseWe were looking for a place to have dinner with our Aussie on a blustery evening. Although they had pulled the servers from the patio area, they managed to accommodate us at a booth in the back of the restaurant. The food was very good, large portions and Faith was an excellent server as we're the 3 gals doing hostess duty who worked to find a way for us. A very interesting restaurant. Recommended.
