Just Like Home!
Lundeen Inn of the ArtsLundeen Inn of the Arts is not your run-of-the-mill place to stay. The nooks and crannies of the house are full of art, and the inn is only a few blocks from downtown Las Cruces. We had a ground-floor room with a patio and access to a large backyard. Our dogs were able to run and play in the yard while we enjoyed sitting out on the patio watching them. Everyone at the inn was very welcoming. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there.
Great Stay!
Rosewood Inn of the AnasaziThe Rosewood Inn of the Anasazi is the perfect place to stay for exploring Santa Fe — less than a block from the central plaza. The staff is very welcoming and went out of their way to make sure we and our dogs were comfortable. There were beds, bowls, and personalized dog treats for the dogs. Definitely felt like we were in the lap of luxury, and enjoyed every minute!
Not Worth the Cost
The Wapiti LodgeOur room was dirty; trash under the bed and spider webs in the corners. Door lock didn’t work well. Only good thing was the hotel’s proximity to the Durango Dog Park. Won’t be staying here again.
Great Place for Dogs and People
Rocket InnI’ve now stayed at the Rocket Inn three times, and had a great experience each time. The location is good for walking downtown, there is a dog park with lots of friendly dog owners just down the road, the room included a box with extras for my dog, and the bed was very comfortable — best sleep I’ve had in a hotel recently. The atmosphere is very relaxing with chairs outside the rooms and in a central area, and the staff is very helpful with great restaurant recommendations. I’ll be back!
Relaxing, Restful Motel
Stevens InnGreat place to stay in Carlsbad! Our room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. Staff was very welcoming. Green space on property made it easy to take our dog out for breaks. Even better was the river walk along the Pecos River for longer walks. The breakfast was delicious — eggs, biscuits and gravy, sausages, and pancakes. The inn is large, but wasn’t crowded while we were there.
Not Recommended!
Motel 6 Fort Worth TX - SeminaryWe made reservations, but didn’t even get out of the car after driving through the parking lot. Dogs roaming off leash and shopping carts filled with people’s personal belongings in the parking lot, groups of people hanging out in the stairways, curtains hanging off of curtain rods, tires laying in the grass in front of the hotel. Obvious state of disrepair everywhere. I wouldn’t even give it one bone if I could.
