Nice spot, great for all dogs
Village Pizzeria - OrangeThey had a nice selection of shady and sunny spots on their patio. Food was great, staff was friendly, and they brought our pooch a water bowl. Plenty of space for dogs of any size. Keep in mind they have no bar service outside. We enjoyed it, and will be back!
Great spot!
Station Tavern & BurgersSpacious patio seating with heaters, so even on a crowded nite, there's plenty of room for a larger pooch. They have self-service water and bowls as well! It's got a nice, casual atmosphere for the humans, too. Food is great and the kitchen is open until 10 on weekdays, if you're having a later nite. Dog mat or blanket recommended, as the floor is dirt.
Not ideal for medium/large dogs
Richard Walker's Pancake HouseThe food was incredible, and the outdoor patio was heated, which was nice for a chilly morning. The tables were pretty close together and it was very crowded for a Tuesday morning. There really wasn't much space to maneuver between tables, let alone for our boxer to sit. They have a communal dog bowl outside of the restaurant, but nothing for our dog at the table.
I think this would be a great spot for lap dogs, and I would love to go back for the food, but perhaps consider another restaurant for your medium or bigger dogs.
Nice and cool, perfect for a summer lunch
The Prado at Balboa ParkWe came for lunch knowing that we would only have access to the limited bar menu, which was fine for us. The food was still great, the service was fast, and the staff were very friendly (lots of pets and hellos for our doggo). They provided us with a water dish and were willing to put out a separate plate of chicken that we ordered for her. The dog patio was in a shady spot, which was perfect for a few AZ travelers looking to escape the heat. We will happily come again!
