Unhelpful front desk
Ruby River HotelThe majority of our stay was rather uneventful. However, upon checking in the front desk attendant told us that our rooms weren’t ready. Mind you this is 5:15p (not like an early check in). Also, there was a whole lot of other people checking in that had rooms. And ours were pre-paid. She then offered to keep our bags behind the desk and wait the $10 amenities fee. She said two of the three rooms were ready. She then printed out our forms to sign with the $10 fee applied. The then proceeded to state that our rooms were now ready. So confusing and unhelpful. They need to make sure their rooms are ready at check in time and if they’re going to waive the fees...waive the fees.
Parking and other issues
Best Western Plus Clocktower InnAt checking, the front desk attendant didn’t know that we had pets (even though it was on the prepaid reservation). Tried to have us sign the agreement for no pets. We were able to clear that up. However there was very little parking and multiple people taking up two spots. The AC only worked part of the time.
