Comfortable Hotel
Cobblestone Inn & Suites - Soda SpringsVery nice experience staying at the Cobblestone Inn with our two pups. Room was roomy and clean, they give you dog treats and a sheet to use to cover the bed when you check in (I love the sheet, all hotels should do this for folks with pets!). Location was convenient and there was a nice, large area behind the hotel to walk the dogs. Would definitely stay here again!
Chill Dog Friendly space
Nomad Cafe and Retro RV ResortSuch a great spot to stop! There's a trail to hike to dinasaur footprint fossils, you can hang out and grab a coffee and some snacks and it's all completely dog friendly! They also have converted Airstreams and RVs for rent if you're looking for overnight accommodations. Check out their Facebook and Instagram pages for live music events and other activities!
Best pet-friendly hotel ever
Best Friends Roadhouse and MercantileWell, now we're spoiled. No other place is going to measure up to this hotel when travelling with our pups. Rooms are thoughtfully laid out and super comfortable. Breakfast was great in the mercantile and dogs are welcome pretty much everywhere. There's even a great dog park on the property with splash fountains and everything!
Dog Friendly patio!
Oregon Grain Growers Brand DistilleryHave to agree with the other reviewers, this place is great if you have a pup. When we pulled during a long drive it was 90 degrees outside but the patio they have was covered and had misters! It was heaven. The server brought ice water for my pups and were so nice. Highly recommend!
Great Burgers!
Racks Bar and GrillProbably one of the best burgers I've ever had....no lie! Entrance to the patio was from the back alley. Dog friendly, they brought water for our pups and the service was super friendly. Nice spot to stop and relax on our long drive down to California.
Kimpton, of course!
Kimpton Hotel Monaco Salt Lake City an IHG HotelThe Kimpton brand is aways super dog friendly and this one is no different. They even write the name of your dog(s) on a welcome board as you enter the lobby! Will provide a dog bed, bowls etc. if you need them. You have to walk several blocks to find a place to let the dogs relieve themselves, that would be the only downside. They do have a little potty pad by the parking garage for little dogs. Always recommend Kimptons.
Heart of Ketchum
Limelight Hotel KetchumHave stayed here twice now and both times were great. Welcomes dogs, we have 2. Great rooms, dogs are allowed in common areas in the hotel as well as out on the expansive deck. There's a cute little park right across the street and you are just a few blocks from some of the best hiking on Baldy Mt. Our go-to hotel when we come to Sun Valley.
Amazing Food!
Stone Hill Kitchen + BarCalled ahead to see if dogs were okay on the patio....yes! Quaint place in the woods....amazing, fine dining menu. But don't worry, not a stuffy place at all. Service was impeccable....did I mention the food? Simply outstanding. Small but well curated menu of locally sourced ingredients. Full bar, wine and beer. On the spendy side but worth it.
Beautiful Marina Setting
Harbor GrilleOutdoor seating right on the marina. Small menu but there's something for everyone. Bar, wine and extensive beer list. Very nice, relaxing spot to take in Flathead Lake views.
Relaxing Patio
Riley's Pub & Sports BarNice covered patio with a peek-a-boo view of Flathead Lake. Small menu but covers the basics (salads, burgers, pizza). Great desserts made in house. Welcomed our mala-mutt pooch and brought water for him. Nice, chill place to hang out!
Downtown Bigfork
Great Northern GourmetReally nice, spacious outdoor patio that welcomes dogs. Great menu, a bit more upscale but not stuffy at all. Delicious food, good beer and wine choices too. Had dinner than came back the next day for lunch, that's how much we enjoyed it!
Great Deck
The RavenBeautiful view, can get crowded but they are dog friendly and didn't bat an eye when we sat down with our mala-mutt. Recommend.
Great stay
The Edgewater, a Noble House HotelJust stayed 4 nights/5 days here and had a great time with our malamute mix pup. He was welcome in all the common spaces and we were able to sit in the lobby overlooking the Puget Sound and order off the bar and main dining menu. Myrtle Edwards Park was just a few blocks down where the pup could get some excercise as well as short walks to Pike Place Market and downtown. Rooms are pricey but worth it. Will definitely stay again!
