Yuki is our second Japanese Spitz. We had to put down the 1st because of a very rare cancer. Absolutely love the breed!

Very Pet Friendly
Katie's Seafood HouseWe returned to Katie’s for dinner again. There was no problem bringing along our puppy! He was even provided with a bowl of water on the deck. The food is delish! Sitting on the deck also provides a great view of passing ships! Don’t miss the fresh seafood available for sale next door! Also if you’re a Pittsburgh Steeler fan, wear it proudly! There is a very delightful gentleman that works at Katie’s, who likes to joke about the Steelers! He’s a gem!
The West End Marina and Restaurants
West End Marina & RestaurantsWest End Marina and Restaurant is one of our favorite stops when in Galveston! Our dog is always welcome there, as we dine! The view of boats docked and moving thru the channel provides interest. The food is good, with nice choices.
Great food and very dog friendly!
Russo's New York PizzeriaWe happen to find this place by accident, but will certainly will return! The food was quick and delicious! They had absolutely no problem with our doggo joining us in the outside seating.
Total Animal Care!
Pittsburgh Veterinary Specialty & Emergency Center North HillsI never knew that there was a facility that offered vets that specialized in dermatology, cardiology, etc so close to home! The appointments were scheduled quickly for non-emergency visits. It was a very impressive clinic that offers total health care!
A regular stop along the river!
Redfin BluesThe food is great and they’re very pet friendly too! Sitting on the deck, you can watch the boats sailing up and down the Allegheny River! Best to call ahead for a reservation, if possible! Even without a reservation, they seat fairly quickly!
Has a “Dog Menu”!
The Olde Spitfire GrilleWe have enjoyed dining with our pup here, which offers a dog menu! Our doggo has enjoyed various items with frequent trips. It’s a busy place, so it’s best to make a reservation! There’s a canopy, which will provide shade for all. The food is good too!
Great view of the Gulf
Woody'sThe location is great and pet friendly, but needs more food selections. It’s a great place for an “adult beverage”, but we would have stayed longer if we could have ordered dinner.
Great View!
Tipsy Turtle Seaside Bar & GrillThis was a pet friendly business with a great view of the Gulf. Location, location, location! It has a limited menu, but the food is basically bar food.
Comfortable Location
Sparrow Pond Family CampgroundThis campground was pet friendly and is located just outside of Erie, PA. The campground is nicely spaced, with nice areas to walk your pup! We had a great time exploring local businesses, like the ice cream place just down the street (dog friendly), a kitchen store, and a tasty restaurant called Sugar and Spice. For this one, the doggo needs to stay home.
Nice campground
Cherrystone Family Camping ResortThis campground requires proof that your dog is up-to-date with vaccinations. We didn’t know this before arriving, but was able to have our vet fax the information. This is a good thing! You want to make sure that all the other pets are also healthy! The surrounding area (i.e. the downtown businesses) were welcoming when we visited.
Convenient Location
Presque Isle Passage RV Park & Cabin RentalsWe’ve stayed there a number of times and enjoyed each visit. It is located right off the interstate and is a short ride to various pet-friendly bars, wineries, and restaurants.
Nicely landscaped
Nashville KOAThere are sites that have private fenced-in areas for your pup to exclusively use. Just across the street is the Grand Ole Opry. There are nice areas to walk your dog within the park. It’s our favorite spot, when in Nashville.
Convenient to casino
Hollywood Casino TunicaThe RV parking is convenient to the casino, but there’s not much else there. It’s not very interesting for us or our dog to walk thru a parking lot. It’s about 30 miles from Memphis, which was a total disappointment after having been to Nashville. The city, as well as the casino were rather run down. As far as Memphis, we didn’t feel safe. It will be our last visit to the area.
Great Getaway
Camp HatterasWe’ve stayed there a number of times and have made friends with another couple that has a dog that’s similar to ours. The resort is away from the touristy part of the OBX. There is a choice of staying on the ocean side or the bay side. You can’t go wrong staying here. The area is great for shelling too.
Wonderful Resort
Swan Bay ResortThis is one of our favorite resorts! There is a dog park, sidewalks all thru the resort and friendly staff. Boat docking is available for boaters too! Frequently, you will find dogs taking a dip in the water at the boat ramp! There’s a supermarket (Price Chopper) that is adjacent to the resort.
Great place to patronize!
Tavern on the Bay at Harrison's LandingWe stopped with our Japanese Spitz for an “adult beverage” and appetizers. The staff was extremely friendly and had no problem with our dog joining us. In fact, they brought him a large bowl of water and stopped to pet him. The service and food were great. We’ll be back!
