Great place to stay
Drury Inn & Suites Dayton NorthEveryone was very nice. They all seemed to really like pets. There was a hood area to walk my Pug. The room was large enough to not be crowded with the kennel for our cat in the room. The cat is very difficult to catch and get into the kennel so she was not allowed out. I would definitely stay at another Drury Inn when traveling.
A quiet place to stay
Days Inn by Wyndham KimballThey treated my dog well but they are redoing the lobby so had no breakfast. there is little on site place to walk a dog but you can walk down the sidewalk. another draw back is on a Sunday night the only place opened to eat was Subway. Everything else is closed!!
The room needs a renovation
Quality Inncarpet in the room was torn in 2 locations. one just as you enter that caught my foot and I almost had a fall. the bath tub was badly stained and I would not use it. the floor near the tub looked to have mold. the bed sheets were not white but yellowed. I will not stay there again.
Great place for pets
My Place Hotel-Altoona/Des Moines IAeveryone was so supportive of bringing pets. there is plenty of grass to walk a dog.
Close to the interstate
Days Inn by Wyndham Roanoke Near I-81The room was clean but I found the bed to be lumpy. There was another dog in the next room who would bark and I would have to calm my dog so she would not bark. I wish the sound proofing between rooms was better.
Great place to stay
The Village Inn HarrisonburgThe room was clean. The pool was great fun for the family. The restaurant food was great. We could not eat in as they have no outdoor seating for dogs but they allowed us to fill several boxes with food from the buffet. This could then be eaten in the room or at one of the picnic tables. The rooms were very quiet. Could not hear any noise from other rooms or the street. I only wish there was lighting in the dog walking area as after dark you need a flash light.
