Great Spot
Country Inn & Suites by Radisson Mount Morris NYStayed here when visiting Letchworth State Park, which is rated as the #1 State Park in the country. Great location, clean, nice bed, friendly staff & they have the waffle maker for breakfast which is a necessity on my travels. Staff went above board.
NOT Pet Friendly!
Fish CoveI ALWAYS have used BringFido for the last 10 Years, it has never let me down, not even once. This establishment might have been pet friendly once, but it is no more. There are no outside picnic tables (& it's August 3rd). I also called the other location who confirmed they did not allow pets.
Great Food, Beautiful, Historic Venue
Chateau HathornThe restaurant has been in operation by the same owners since 1984, that should say it all. They were very welcoming to my dog, Rudy. We sat on a lovely outdoor porch which has limited tables so I suggest calling in advance to reserve a table. The food was absolutely delicious! I had Tuna & my wife had Duck & we shared a seafood appetizer that was fantastic. The owner/Chef came out to inquire about our meal, something that rarely happens today. When I went to the bathroom I saw the kitchen which was absolutely immaculate. If i could give it six bones, I wouldn't hesitate!
The Place to Stay
La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham MiddletownGreat hotel. When I arrived I was greeted by Nicole an obvious pet lover. The hotel is new, about 1 & 1/2 years old. Nice rooms, comfortable bed, immaculately clean, it has a pool, hot tub (don't think dogs are allowed) free breakfast & an outside area where you can eat with your pet. The entire staff is helpful & friendly. I'd give it 6 bones if I could!
The Buzz is Real!
Hotel HiveReally cool hotel, old building, immaculately clean rooms. The staff is friendly, accommodating & professional. The location is perfect within walking distance of everything you'll want to see. Many restaurants are dog friendly. The entire staff is professional, accommodating & friendly. Brooke, Shanti & Trevor are 3 whose names I remember, but everyone was great!
Not Recommended
Super 8 by Wyndham MonticelloThe hotel rug was filthy, the sheets were clean but had what appeared to be burn holes in them. There were burn holes on the bathroom vanity. The bed was comfortable, I only stayed one night & didn't get maid service. It was inexpensive & the owners/staff were nice.
Great from start to finish!
Hilton Wilmington ChristianaCouldn't be happier with establishment. Great location, immaculately clean, friendly, accommodating, professional staff. The food offerings are all 1st rate too. Chef Don will get your day off to the right start with a killer omelet.
The Best of Everything
Lobster Roll aka LUNCHFresh seafood, great desserts, friendly service. This restaurant is a must stop when in the Hamptons or Montauk. My Rudy was quickly offered a bowl of water with ice & a dog treat. This long time establishment is a total home run, don't miss it.
A great value
Howard Johnson by Wyndham MysticThe hotel in conveniently located right off of 95, the staff was friendly. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable and there is an area to walk your dog which does have poop bags. It was by far the best value in the area.
Great Time Spent
Goddard Memorial State ParkVisited Goddard Park on a weekday in mid-May. There were no admission fees & they had a farmers market that sold flowers, fresh eggs & vegetables etc. We went down to the water & met some other dogs playing on the beach where my Bella had a great time. Note: There was a sign that said no dogs on the beach, but I assumed that was in-season. I was also told by a park employee that is was OK on a weekday.
