Not a stellar experience

When I checked in, I was informed the first floor was under construction so I had to be on the second floor. No big deal, except they weren't allowing you to enter through the stairs, only exit, which I didn't realize until my second day there. That's great, except if your dog can't do elevators, and the dog area is right outside the door to the stairs. When I asked about why I couldn't get into the stairwell with my dogs on the second day, the woman at the front desk pretty much insinuated I was lying about not using the elevator the day before. I'm pretty sure she would have noticed me, with my pitbull and rottweiler, ambling through the lobby, as well as me lugging their crates in. I also had to call the front desk TWICE to complain about people arguing - once at 2:30am and again around 8:30am. They were escorted out of the building by police. I didn't get an apology, an offer of a discount or free night, or anything other than annoyance at my need for use of the stairs. They did have laminate flooring in the rooms which I love and is really the only reason they got 2 stars.
