Awesome winter vacation!
Emerald Glen GetawayMy two Aussies and I just spent 6 days in the NorthStar Lodge at Emerald Glen Getaway. We had an amazing time! The Lodge is clean, comfy and cozy with all the kitchen amenities and a king size bed that was perfect for all of us to stretch out in after a long day of exploring the property. The Lodge has its own fenced in yard, I could open the French doors in the bedroom to let them out in the morning. There are also 20 acres of fenced in grounds that was great for working on recall with my younger dog. Then there are over a hundred acres of dog heaven! Well maintained trails to run, wooded areas to sniff, and a creek to jump and play in. The NorthStar is the only accommodation open in the winter, so we had the whole place to ourselves. That was the best part for my dogs who can be reactive to other dogs, and for myself to recover from a stressful holiday season. I am already looking at my schedule to plan our next adventure at the Getaway!

Super 8 by Wyndham Sidney NYThe Sidney Super 8 is clean, no frills and a good price. With breakfast! The is ample room for dogs to take care of their business, and a park with leashed dog friendly walking trails a 5 min drive into Sidney.
