ups and downs..

we have just recently started to travel with dogs, so I might be expecting too much for the price but..

This hotel was in a super convenient location, really close to great shopping, eating and coffee. The room itself was quiet (we were on the back parking lot side, not the street side) and clean. For us, it worked out fine because we had a kitchenette to prep the dog food and there was a clear space for a kennel. Plenty of parking and many areas for dog walking. The neighborhood felt safe enough - it's on a busy street.

The downside was that the lobby was kind of a catastrophe - ceiling tiles missing and only 1 elevator working. I got trapped in there for awhile and someone told me to "just kick the door" and it would start moving again: a little too wreck it ralph for me! Next trip I would ask for a room on the bottom floor.

Overall, I would feel comfortable staying here again, but I hope they finish the upgrade soon.
