Phoenix Loved The Sushi!
Waypoint 622Where to begin? Phoenix had a blast! But he had to bring his wallet. Sushi was fabulous! We ate at the bar and our servers were Sooo nice. The view is fab and it is so nice to have a place in the Point/Manasquan area where Phoenix can dine with us. Especially since he is paying the tab!
Phoenix Loves Cornhole!
Crooked Hammock Brewery and Backyard Beer GardenWhere to begin? This place is dog heaven. Had to drag Phoenix away from the cornhole and brew. I’m so glad this place is 200 miles from home or Phoenix would drag us there every day.
Phoenix Wished He Ate This Breakfast
Murphy's Irish PubWhat a find! Delicious value for a great weekend breakfast. Dogs are allowed in the outside bar which is covered. We chose to sit on the front porch because the other outside tables were too sunny on a hot day. No complaints at all!
Phoenix Loved Watching The Steelers Here
CP ShuckersWhat a great place to bring Phoenix. We sat on the covered part of the porch where there were lots of tvs for Phoenix to watch all the NFL games. The manager and server went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our visit. The menu is diverse and delicious. This place is what dog-friendly is all about!
Phoenix Is Still Humming Beatles Miusic
Abbey Road Pub & RestaurantWe had a very relaxing dinner with a nice shady porch for Phoenix. We asked for shredded cheese instead of liquid cheese on our nachos, and they were fantastic. Don’t miss the Delmonico steak or the Roma Caprese appy. Also our server was excellent.
Phoenix Approves!
Bridges RestaurantBeautiful views. Excellent food. Fabulous service! There is no doggie menu but Phoenix loves the hamburger sans bun ordered from the kids menu. Prices are not cheap here, but you get what you pay for. And what you pay for is well worth it here. Good thing Phoenix made a reservation because this place is a hot spot for well-travelled pups. There is a covered gazebo for rain or shady umbrellas for sun, and outside area is open during winter as well. Enjoy!
Phoenix still Loves This Place
Hemingway's RestaurantWhen Pheonix wants to listen to some live James Taylor on acousric guitar, we head to Hemingways. Phoenix loves the gorgeous water view and ice cold water bowls. The dog life doesn’t get any better than here. If it’s rainy the outdoor covered bar keeps the fun going.
Update: Just had another fantastic lunch! Phoenix watched a bald eagle soar above while Ahi tuna, mussels and cocktails were served tableside. He’s a lucky pup.
Still No Complaints From Phoenix
Best Western Kent Narrows InnPhoenix has stayed here at least half a dozen times in the last year. Staff is always friendly. Definitely book a bayside room. Best of all you can walk to the waterfront Jetty with its dog-friendly menu. Never had a bad room here and going back twice again next month.
Update: Pheonix has been back 6 more times in 2021! He now knows his way to the Jetty and has just discovered Bridges restaurant is also dog-friendly! Lucky pup.
Phoenix Stays Here Regularly!
1863 Inn of GettysburgWhat pooch can beat this place? Walking distance to dog-friendly restaurants...Minimal pet charge per night...Friendly service with clean rooms. You are asked to sign a pet policy in advance so there shouldn’t be any surprises if you are mindful of your neighbors. Already planning our return visit!
Phoenix says Wooowww!
The Gettysburger CompanyWe were treated so well here!!! There are nice dog-friendly tables up a side alley in the shade. Pheonix ordered a delicious chicken breast off the dog menu. Prices on drinks are very good. Excellent service!
Phoenix Loves This Gem!
Reid's Orchard & WineryEven in the pouring rain Reid’s is such fun! Phoenix doesn’t expect to be allowed into the tasting room. He is just happy for the big shady biergarten around back. The wine prices are great. Try a bottle of the Viognier! The place closes by 6pm during the week.
Phoenix Can Clear Up The Confusion!
Farnsworth House TavernJust spent a weekend in Gettysburg and Phoenix ate here twice! On our past stays, the place used to have only one dog-friendly table, but that has changed. The place now has a dog-friendly sign at the garden gate, and there were dogs at several tables when we dined. The outdoor area is a beautiful garden and can get a bit buggy, but it is an overall great experience.
Phoenix Loves a Covered Porch in A Rainstorm!
Pike Restaurant & LoungeThis place is probably your best dog spot on a rainy afternoon.
Phoenix Gives It Four Paws Up!
O'Rorke's Eatery & SpiritsAfter a long day g the battlefield, Phoenix loves this shady porch. Across the street from the very dog-friendly 1863 Inn of Gettysburg O’Roark’s is a good spot rain or shine. It is not a covered patio, so not good in a full downpour. Very good fries.
Phoenix Felt Like He Was In Dublin
McCarthy's Red Stag Pub and Whiskey BarSuper dog friendly! Don’t look for this place on Main Street. It’s actually on a quiet side street with a Donegal storefront on Main. Phoenix loved our shady table and friendly service. Best doggy dinner yet!
When Phoenix Goes in Style...
Annapolis Waterfront Hotel Autograph CollectionPhoenix loves this place! Sure it can get a little loud out on the dockside bar at Pusser’s. But then he just orders up a double water with extra ice. Great acoustic guitar on the marina on weekends...They do charge a good price for his doggy bed here...But it’s all about location.
If Phoenix Had a Tail He Would Wag It
O'Brien's Oyster Bar & Seafood TavernPhoenix loves to dog watch at one of about 10 shady tables here. Ice water is served paw-side in clean metal bowls. The best Bloody Mary in town is served on the table up above. Friendly service in the heart of downtown—that’s plenty to wag about.
Phoenix Gives This Five Bones!
Boatyard Bar and GrillShady deck with lots of paw space... Your pick of water bowls...Grilled chicken breast for furry friends upon request. Now that’s what Phoenix calls lunch! Excellent food, menu and service are a bonus.
Phoenix Loves A Good Biergarten!
Purple ParrotWhere to begin when it comes to Purple Parrot? Down an alley off the side of the parrot is an awesome hidden biergarten. Sandy tables! Shady vines overhead! Icy water bowls! What dog wouldn’t love it. If you take your pooch to only one place in Rehoboth, Purple Parrot is your stop.
Phoenix Approves!
Acme Bar and GrillLove this place! Two Nice big picnic tables on the shady side of the street. Phoenix loves to dog watch here.
Phoenix Loves This Place
Dogfish Head Brewings & EatsIce cold water bowls! Shady covered patio! Shared table with dog friends! Definitely approved by Phoenix. Beer tasting flights and delicious thyme-lemonade mimosa kept the rest of us happy too.
Good Food in a Good Location
Striper BitesThe front patio of this restaurant is dog friendly. There was enough room for Phoenix and tables that had other dogs as well. The area is partially covered so it may not be best if it is raining. It is right in the heart of the downtown area. The service was very good and so was the menu. We will definitely be back on our next trip.
Place Is Now Called The Wheelhouse
The Wharf Bar and RestaurantThis is a great place to be a Corgi pup. Pheonix was treated so kindly here by both waitstaff and patrons. I am guessing he had as much fun as we did. The menu has some healthy selections and everything we ordered was delicious. Definitely don’t miss the endive stuffed with crabmeat. This place is perfect for hot weather or rain as there is ample covered space on the deck. Do be prepared to wait though. Thisplace is packed for good reason.
Very Fun Lunch
Irish Eyes Pub & RestaurantSure the dog friendly porch is a bit cramped together, but that just adds to the friendliness of the place. Cold bowl of ice water for Pheonix, Beautiful water setting, nice people all around—what could be better?
The Best of Annapolis
Federal House Bar & GrillThis place is a gem! We dine here with or without Phoenix. That’s how good the food is. Not only do they have a dog menu and a shady overhang but this place is in a great part of Annapolis for you and your dog to people and dog watch.. i have always found the servers to be very polite. We never miss this place when in Annapolis. Don’t forget to try the mussels.
Overnight stop from Jersey to Myrtle Beach
Hilton Garden Inn Roanoke RapidsThis was my second stay at this hotel. It is very clean and has lots of area to walk Phoenix. I recommend not wasting your time trying to find a good dog friendly restaurant in town. Go straight to the hotel. There is a nice bar and restaurant. The food is good and there is ample outdoor seating. Some tables have umbrellas and the grounds are pretty. There is not much nearby the hotel. Our room had a very nice large balcony. For breakfast the next day, there were tables that are not located directly where the food was being served so we were able to eat downstairs with Phoenix and still eat in the lobby. The breakfast waitress even came and brought our food to us and was very kind. We will definitely be staying here again on our next trip to Myrtle Beach.
Spent half our vacation dinners here!
Spanky's Pub HouseNot only is Spanky’s about as dog-friendly as a place gets, but the food is really good. Pheonix received an icy bowl of water even before our drinks arrived. They are known for their burgers and mine was excellent. Several times we snacked on the nachos. Our sons loved the wings. Our rental condo at Land’s End was nearby, so it was nice not to have to deal with highway traffic. Best of all, Spanky’s patio has a roof in case your vacation is as soggy as ours was.
This place rocks!
The Jetty Dock BarWe feel lucky to have suvh a great place to sit by the water with Pheonix. The view is beautiful. The live music can get a little loud so this place might not be the best for skittish dogs. They usually have jumbo blue crabs when surrounding restaurants are out. The adjacent hotel is unfortunately not dog friendly, but the Best Western across the street does allow dogs. Phoenix is an early riser, so it is nice to know the bar opens at 8am on weekends for breakfast and bloody marys. We never have a bad time here.
Super dog friendly!
King & RyeThis is the restautrant for the Alexandrian Autograph hotel. The location is excellent for people and dog watching. On certain days they host yappy hour, which is so buy that it gets plenty yappy.
Welcome Shelter in Pouring Rain
Two Nineteen RestaurantHoly monsoon! One of only two places we found that did not shut down dog-friendly seating in a downpour. This place has an alcove-type front patio that has a roof. Staff were so kind to Phoenix. The food was excellent, though pricy. Definitely an excellent stop when your pup behaves better than the weather does.
Loved it!
Blackwell HitchSat at the bar on the rear patio. There were large water bowls there filled with clean water. Staff were super friendly. We were in a virtual monsoon so we were glad for the shelter of the covered bar. Beautiful outdoor patio and excellent food!
Awesome!
The Alexandrian Old Town Alexandria Autograph CollectionVery pet friendly! And the location cannot be beat. They also have an interior courtyard that is beautiful and dog friendly. My go-to place in Alexandria from now on.
