Unacceptable
La Quinta Inn by Wyndham StocktonFacility very outdated and unsecure. Dirty parking lot. Room thermostat didn't work, batteries had to be replaced for that; room cleanliness debatable; freeway noise. No resident security... homeless encampment close to the facility. In fact, bicycle locked on top of car was stolen by someone from the homeless camp even though parked under bright lights and visually watched on front desk cameras by staff that was unable to chase the thief(s) away even though my vehicle was parked at the front door of the hotel. I don't recommend staying at this hotel.

Excellent Facility with Convenient Access
Ashland Hills Hotel & SuitesWill always stay here if possible while on the road. A suite room is the way to go with a larger pet such as our Lab. Good breakfast, great firm mattress, pleasant staff. Nice environment...with pickleball courts even!

Convenient Location
Super 8 by Wyndham Carson CityAverage, dated motel. Literally no outdoor pet area, pet fee should be minimal for lack of a decent area. Fit our need for a basic overnite stop between destinations. Breakfast "room" was satisfactory. Single King bed room was tight with our Lab (nice mattress though). Convenient location. As a Wyndham-branded property, would expect more.
