Large Park for the Doggos!

I was there on a Saturday morning and it looked like there were several dog training classes. It was so cool to see! So many good pups! The park is large with several playgrounds, dog parks for both active and passive dogs, shaded picnic tables, and even a skatepark. Paradise Valley Park is a great place for you and your pup to spend a weekend morning. The park is pretty big, so if you'd like to view and find park amenities, I'd recommend downloading the app, Avem.

Large Scottsdale Park for Your Pooch

Eldorado Park

I used to live next to Eldorado Park and visited the park weekly with my German Shepherd. Unfortunately, the park doesn't have an off-leash area, but it is full of amenities such as several playgrounds, fishing spots, baseball & softball fields, and even includes a skatepark. Eldorado Park seamlessly merges into Vista Del Camino Park which gives you plenty of length for a nice walk with your pooch. The park is fairly long, so I'd recommend using the app, Avem, to help you discover and find your favorite amenities.

Great Park in the Heart of Tempe

Tempe Beach Park

Tempe Beach Park is a great place to catch some fresh air. It has a great walking path for you and your pup that runs right along the "lake" water front and has large grass lawns to sit and relax. There is a rental shop on the lake that rents boats, kayaks, and paddle-boards. Tempe Beach Park is quite large, so I'd recommend downloading the app, Avem, to help you discover and find different park amenities.

Great Park in Scottsdale's Green Belt

Vista del Camino Dog Park

I use to live right next to Vista Del Camino park and have been there several times. I would take my dog rollerblading through the park's paved paths. The park also offers several other amenities such as a kid friendly splash pad, small dog park, Shelly Sharpe Disc Golf Course, and volleyball courts. The dog park is pretty small and is rarely used in my experience, so I'd stick to the walking path. The park is quite long, so I recommend using the Avem app to help find your favorite amenities.

Great Hike w/ the Pup!

Thunderbird Conservation Park

I grew up in this area so I have been to Thunderbird Conservation Park several times. There are several trails with different types of difficulties. My favorite trail is the Sunrise trail. It is a quick hike with awesome views, my German Shepherd loves it too! The park also has several different types of amenities like picnic areas and a wildlife lookout area that not many people know about. I recommend downloading the Avem app, it will help you discover and find all the different park amenities offered at Thunderbird Conservation Park. Happy Hiking!

Great Dog Park in North Phoenix

Dog Park at Deem Hills Recreation Area

I just recently moved to North Phoenix about a year ago and have been bringing my German Shepherd here at least once a week (while the weather is nice, of course!). The park has 2 sections, 1 for small dogs and 1 for large. There is ample space for running and playing. However, if you're looking for your pup to have playmates, I'd recommend going between 4 and 6 pm on the weekdays, otherwise there isn't much activity. The dog area is pretty easy to find, but if you are having trouble, I would recommend downloading the app, Avem. It is an app that helps you find park amenities. Overall, we love this park and will continue going back!

Best Dog Park I've Been To

Chaparral Dog Park

I use to live right next to Chaparral Park, so I took my German Shepherd to its dog park more times than I can count. It is by far the best dog park I have been to. It has 3 large lawns (although 1 is usually closed to let the grass grow back in) for both active and passive dogs. There are always a lot of dogs there and it is very well lit at night! Chaparral Park also offers several other amenities and has a great walking path for you and your pooch. I'd recommend downloading the app, Avem, to see what other Chaparral Park amenities interest you.
