There's a park & walking trail less than 50 feet away
Comfort Inn Mount VernonNice, quiet location with a park right next door. Grassy areas and giant swings overlook the river and a train bridge turned into a walking path that winds through town. Our Great Dane was welcomed with open arms and we were given the last from on the end. There was a slight pet odor in the room when we arrived. The bed was comfy, a/c worked and the pool looked nice butt was closed due to covid.

Loved having a two room suite
Quality Suites LansingCheck in was a breeze, the staff was awesome and welcomed our Great Dane without any issue. We were put on the 2nd floor, which is really the main level from the front entrance due to the hotel being built on a slight hill. If we used the side entrance, we needed to navigate a flight of stairs which was not a big deal. Hotel is easy to find and near restaurants. They've just restarted serving breakfast on the weekends after the Covid shutdown and that was excellent.
