Dog Friendly!
Garden of the GodsWe did the walk from the trading post to the Twins. Walked mid morning and hardly anyone there. Beautiful views from the top! Recommend you go early in the day because parking gets limited and hiking paths can be narrow when it gets crowded. Great activity to do with you dogs.

Beautiful Views
Eleven Mile CampgroundWe camped at Eleven Mile State Park for 6 days with our two dogs. The views are amazing. The campsites are large. Fishing is good I’ve heard but we didn’t do it while we were there. Rangers were friendly and helpful. Only one hike in park but it was beautiful. Some negatives are sites are electric only in a few loops and no hookups in the rest, you can’t swim in the lake because it is a reservoir for drinking water to Denver and bath facilities small. Beware of the ground squirrels! They are everywhere and my dogs wanted to chase them all. Even with that, we loved our time there and would recommend.

Great Place To Eat With Your Dog
Barrelhouse BBQgreat food, good prices and nice covered outdoor seating in a scenic location by a creek.
