Wooded oasis with a stream, not fenced
Glencarlyn Park Off Leash AreaWe love Glencarlyn Dog Park! It's not fenced, so it's only for dogs that won't run off. It's a large, wooded oasis for your dog to play, and it has a stream to frolic in. The water seems much cleaner than a few miles downstream at Shirlington Dog Park.
Decent park
Baron Cameron Dog ParkIt's an okay park. Decent size, with a water pump and separate area for smaller dogs. The downsides are it lacks shade and it's all gravel instead of dirt.
Nice, big park with natural grass
Duke Street Dog ParkA nice big park with plenty of shade and natural grass. It does lack parking, a water station and a small dog area however.
Large park with agility equipment, needs more shade
South Run Rec. Center Dog ParkA nice big park, and my dog loves the agility obstacles provided (there's a jumping obstacle, a ramp and a large rock). Downsides are most of the park grounds are gravel and there is a lack of shade, but a small area of trees do provide both natural dirt and shade.
Great park, a bit dusty
Dog Park at Chandon ParkChandon Park is a large park with plenty of shade, and agility ramp, water pump and separate area for smaller dogs. It can get pretty dusty or muddy though.
Nice but basic park
Leesburg Dog Park at Olde Izaak Walton ParkOlde Isaak Walton dog park is a nice, medium-sized park. It features a water pump and separate area for small dogs. It's a pretty basic park though with no agility equipment or unique features.
