Greatly disappointed
Extended Stay America Select Suites Chicago Naperville EastWhen I got there around 11pm, the woman behind the counter said there were no more "dog" rooms available. She did not offer any solutions. I asked to speak to her manager, and she picked up her cell phone, called someone (could have been a friend for all I know), and she said immediately to the person on the phone, "Please tell this man that we don't have any more rooms." She would not let me talk directly to the "manager." She accused me of being rude. Maybe I was to a degree, but I had a reservation that was not being honored, and no solutions were given to me.
I know people have different experiences, but based on my experience, I would avoid this hotel completely, and since this was my first experience with Extended Stay America, I will avoid this chain in the future. Oh, and BTW, she wouldn't give me a refund there on the spot and just gave me the customer support number. Since it was late on a Friday night, I have to wait until business offices are open this week, and go through this story to hopefully get a refund. This also doesn't sit well with me.
