Fun, kid and dog friendly, Good eats/Great Beer 🍺

Dogs are allowed on the uncovered portion of the enclosed patio, which is roomy and extensive. Since it was winter (Jan 2021) when we visited, they had outdoor heaters to warm the seating area. Service staff brought a dog bowl filled with water without even being asked! Some restaurants that claim to be dog friendly merely tolerate our pet’s present, but Fireside staff came out to greet him and were genuinely sweet, asking all about him. The restaurant itself is located in a fun visually exciting artisan food industry dense location with plenty of people watching and sights to entertain the senses. The only unexpected challenge was finding parking as there are limited spaces available for all the eateries in the area. We were still able to find a spot right across the street, which was easy to traverse.

Make sure it’s a nice day, because service is on the patio outside. They do have umbrellas covering the tables as well as smaller 4 person seating under the eaves.

Great views of plane spotting on outside deck

Food was deemed excellent by everyone in our party. They have specials of the day for every day of the week and we were here in Tues.... so tacos! We ended up splitting a taco bowl between mom and teen son, and it was delicious and plentiful for $11.00! Husband got the bacon wrapped filet which was only 5 oz but still filling with rest of the meal and cooked to perfection ($20). Other teen son ordered grilled cheese sandwich ($8). Ordered their specialty martini “the flight attendant” a berry infused delight for $8 that was totally worth it! Watch planes arrive, refuel, depart. Our yellow lab was loved on and the server grabbed the portable water bowl We’d brought without prompting, announcing she would go fill it up. It came even before our drinks! Overall a wonderful experience on a surprisingly pleasant August evening! Be aware that there are only 2 outdoor tables on the enclosed deck for pet owners so be sure to call and make a reservation in advance.
