Basic lodging with great location

Ocean Beach Hotel is a nice, clean place to stay right on the beach. The room itself was small, but it had all the necessities (including a fridge!) and the staff was super friendly. You'll have to walk about 10 mins to get to the dog-friendly portion of the beach, but it's not bad at all. The only downside of the hotel being so close to everything is that it can be pretty loud in the evenings. If you're a light sleeper or if outside noise bothers your pup, this probably isn't the greatest place to stay.
