Dog loved it
BJ's Restaurant & BrewhouseWe love that San Diego is so dog friendly. We walked to dinner here from our condo and had a great meal. We sat on the patio and dog was given water and greeted nicely by staff (probably, more so than our kids. LOL!).
Cool lunch spot
Hermitage Organic Cafe & JuiceryWe didn’t find many dog-friendly places in this quaint town. This spot had tables out front and no problem with the dogs and kids hanging as we ate banana and peanut butter sandwiches and vegetarian coconut soup.
Dog had a nice time
bluEmberBeautiful grounds to walk on. Doggie sat outside on the patio with us enjoying an outdoor meal.
Ok for a short stop
Lake Powell ResortAs another pet Owner points out, it’s not REALLY pet friendly. There is no place to sit outside with your dog to eat. Although, the food is good. Hotel is planned for a remodel soon and let’s hope this is part of their new plan. Otherwise, dog can’t be left alone in rooms even despite crating. Lots of places to walk doggie and plenty of green grass with potty bags.
Not really “dog” friendly, more kid friendly
Hyatt Regency Indian Wells Resort & SpaIf you are looking for an inclusive resort experience with your dog, this is not it. The amazing water park and pool area is fabulous for kids but, staff do nothing and don’t cater to travelers with dogs. You can’t even eat at the hotel restaurant with your dog in the lobby. (Eventually, we sat outside but, it was 115 degrees out. They brought water for the dog after we asked.) There were areas to walk your dog and baggies but, it wasn’t incredibly close and there is a lot of fake grass (not pet friendly). We only saw one other dog the entire stay and we were here 4 days.
Good stay
Omni Rancho Las Palmas Resort & SpaWe were downstairs and could walk right out the door to walk the dog. Beautiful grounds to take her for exercise. Floors of our room were tile which was nice. Sat outside with dog at restaurant and pool cafe. Staff was friendly. Note: Pool has strange limited hours due to COVID regime.
Ok
Carlsbad by the Sea HotelWe stayed just one night to go to an event. Jacuzzi was closed still. Room was ok. Check-in was painful and greatly understaffed. Green areas to walk dog were fine and close.
Ok place near Disneyland
Clementine Hotel & Suites AnaheimCute spot with kitchenettes walking distance to Disney. Ok spot for dog. Had substantial room issues. First room smelled like smoke, 2nd room had broken AC and 3rd room which was an upgrade to 2 story loft had smoke alarm chirping all night and broken dishwasher. Juan at front desk lacked customer service and wasn’t very helpful. Had hoped this would be our new favorite spot when visiting the Magical Kingdom but, we will keep looking for other pet-friendly hotels in the neighborhood.
Awesome hotel
Arizona Biltmore a Waldorf Astoria ResortThe Biltmore was awesome with having our dog. Surprisingly lenient and pet friendly. We spent the day by the pool and dog had been cooped up since we were there on business. She was able to come sit by the pool with us. Overall an incredible property with phenomenal architecture and character. Best trip!
Clean
La Quinta by Wyndham Phoenix I-10 WestHotel was very clean. Staff was nice. Breakfast was good (above par for COVID grab and go). Our room was unusual with 2 rooms. No living room and really small rooms and beds. Our reservation was lost after making it on BringFido. Neighborhood is sketchy, though. We made sure to park under a light in parking lot. I’d give it one star except it was clean and staff was friendly.
Massive construction underway
Casablanca On the BeachThere was zero warning that they are under a massive remodel. Price did not reflect that, at all.
Parking is a challenge.
Room was recently remodeled and clean. Nice bed.
Other than dog run, nothing special for the pup. No treats or acknowledgement.
Nice to walk to amusement park (closed COVID), pier, etc
Stingy with towels, soaps and blankets. Balcony is not private and only separated by chairs. Can’t beat the view though. Grounds need a good power washing and we had some spider webs with spiders.
Thai restaurant in hotel is pretty good and worth trying.
Ask for AAA discount in advance.
Clerk at desk offered nothing for dog other than the $25 fee
Napa River InnI picked this hotel based on the cute reviews and photo op with the dog house. I thought my 3 little girls would be tickled. When I said something at check-in to the front desk, he looked at me like I was crazy. He was rude, too. There were no dog treats, blanket, or bowls either. I actually had to do a double take that it was the same hotel! (We also read it was on the Haunted Hotel TV show and my 7 year old daughters asked about that fun fact and the desk clerk was dense about that, too. The guy needs to get a personality!)
The hotel itself is dog friendly and teaming with nice patrons. The walk along the river and green belts are fabulous.
The pastries for breakfast delivered to the room were delightful. Great coffee and Juices.
The General Store restaurant allowed our “well behaved” dog to join us at our patio table.
Overall great stay!
It’s OK
Days Inn by Wyndham LebecA true motel...for people traveling through. A very busy spot. A lot of truck drivers and loiterors around the pool smoking. Reviews are a little misleading and I’m new to pet friendly traveling and this app. Not much at this stop for food or service but, it’s the start of the grapevine. Room was clean. Bed was fine. Pool area is nice (not as nice as the picture) but, jacuzzi was broke and had no heat. We slept and got on the road.
