Fantastic Stay
The Wilde Resort and SpaAll around perfect stay for me and my dog. Friendly staff, clean, comfortable and spacious rooms with mini-fridge and safe. Great grounds for calm and relaxation with loads of amenities and activities for guests. Definitely planning a future stay next time I visit Sedona.
Good location
Aloft ScottsdaleEasily walkable to old town but quiet and comfortable room. Free parking on site.
Truly Unique and Welcoming
Lundeen Inn of the ArtsStayed one night on my way across country. Mother and daughter run the Inn which is more like a bed and breakfast as there is a sit down breakfast at large communal dining tables for all the guests in the morning. They are very welcoming and truly dog friendly. Their own dogs were also there on site. The room I had on the first floor was large and clean and had direct access to a huge fenced-in backyard that my dog was free to run around. The only downside of the first floor room were the old wood beam ceiling/ floors. I could hear every footstep booming above me and every creak of the upstairs bed on the floor. Unless you sleep like the dead, insist on an upstairs room. Otherwise the noise is seriously disruptive. Luckily the people staying above me were not a huge problem and seemed to go to bed fairly early. For the price I paid and the uniqueness of the art and building, it’s was an overall positive experience.
Unique and Fun Stay
Railroad Park ResortHad a great stay in a king size bed caboose with a giant claw foot tub! Was traveling with my dog and they were really welcoming.
Highly enjoyed
Ace Hotel PortlandWas traveling through with my small dog. The hotel was great and really liked the location. Very comfortable room and friendly and accommodating staff. Highly recommend.
Fun Place to Stay
The Saguaro Palm SpringsEnjoyed two nights here. Hotel has a young and fun vibe. Dog was allowed in the picnic area and a play area with hammocks and bocce ball court. There is a dog sitting on the counter to greet you at check in. There were lots of other dog lovers staying that gave my dog lots of attention and other dog friends for her to meet. We had no problem leaving the dog alone in the room while we were down at the pool. The room was a step up from a motel but not a luxury Palm Springs stay. That said, it was clean, had a good scene, strong drinks at the pool and easy access to the cheap local bus for downtown access. Would def stay here again.
Clean and comfortable
Park City Peaks HotelEnjoyed the location just a short drive from the historic main street area. Close to many walking trails and large grassy areas. Were very welcoming with my pet and the indoor/ outdoor pool was spot on. I had it all to myself. The room was very clean and they had a pretty good complimentary breakfast selection considering the restrictions they are under with Covid currently.
Cleanliness Issues
La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham La Verkin-Gateway to ZionMy dog kept finding pieces of old dog food lying around which makes me think they did not vacuum properly and then makes me question the rest of the cleanliness of the room. The sheets and bedding were so old, worn through and pilled that it was like sleeping on sandpaper. There were many other guests not wearing masks in the lobby and hallways despite it being required. So no enforcement on that. The water in the pool was so cold it was unusable. The location is fine and it seemed like a good price point but I should have spent a couple more dollars for a hotel taking cleanliness and safety more seriously. I had been traveling for 4 nights and this was the only hotel I stayed in that felt risky during Covid.
